you will not have to enter anythink in the email a blank email is all you need to send just make sure that you put BUILD TESTER for the subject.

Looks Cool
Open "My PSP"
Try to open image file - nothing
Desktop Icon takes me back to the main menu
clicking on "My PSP" caused 80020320 error.

Might need to let people know that the eloader config file needs to point to the eboot.

Clicking Emulators brings up Game Boy Advance
Clicking Game Boy Advance returns to Main Menu
Quit Function Worked, returns to Sony Main Menu

The main thing it loads on 2.6 firmware, it is still under development so it will not be perfect but this error dosn't happen on 2.00 so it will be investigated.

Clicking on tga files and other picture files, mp3,mp4 will not do any think it is a app to manage files, but eboots will load threw a link.

so try browsing your game folder enter a eboot folder and press the triangle button when over the eboot.pbp icon and create a link, this should take you back to the desktop with a link called eboot.pbp, clicking on this link file should run the eboot by passing it into eLoader

80020320 looks like it saying the My PSP is not a directory, so GTA must be causing an isue with path loactions of files, i will have to look into it further to confirm this and see if I can make a mod to prevent it.

I've tried a few eboots, they've all worked.

im 2.6 ill test.

Select works 100% on my 2.6 but randomly shuts down after browsing certian folders

You have to edit the eLoader config to point to ".../eloader/eboot.pbp"

Oh... I considerd that, but I though by default it always was pointed to it... ok... lemme try again.

Okay so. Obviously, it looks amazing.I havent done much yet except move through some folders. I hit "previous folder" at one point, and all the folders dissappeared. I used the "exit" function, and it worked perfectly. I'm going to try and launch something now:

-I hit radio, and sure enough, PSPRadio launched.
-When I laucnhed again, I found that I could drag folders with [ ] ! Very nice...
-I can't see how to input text when renaming folder-I'm assuming it hasnt been done yet
-"creating a link"/shortcut worked fine
-but when I CLICKED on the link,, Select restarted
-I've gotten a few "80020320" errors for no reason (at least I think so)
-when triangle-clicking over a folder, "Rename Folder" is spelled "Rename Foldre"

Popup menu might be getting droped for simple popup icons allong the bottom

Wow looks great, although nothing i clicked would load.
EDIT: only when i pressed triangle then open would they open, i was pressing x. :(


But this has awesome potential.

And this is me being an ass, but when i click on a app, i dont like to see whats in the folder and then press the eboot.

But i really love this so far.

try creating a link by first going to your game location and create a link by pressing the triangle button over the eboot.pbp then click on the link it creatates on the desktop, it should load the eboot.pbp

you will be able to load it by the actual file on the next update, but for now this is the only way

Yeah sorry, just realised it seems like i was b****in. :(

Next Select update will have...
EBOOT.PBP links will pull the title from the file, if it dosen't contain a title it will used the folder name that it is inside of.

DesktopPages for viewing all files in the folder (12 Icons per page)

Loaded Select via eMenu--.
Select crashes on attempt to play .wma files. (not surprised)
Select crashes on attempt to view image files.
Select crashes with 80020320 error after clicking shortcut to image file.
Nothing listed under Games icon, not even previous folder, only option is to exit Select.
After exit, Wi-Fi apps did not work through eMenu--.

Homebrew that worked perfectly: (was able to enter play then exit back to choice)
-Deadulus
-Squares
-Pang
-K.E.T.M. (Kill Everything That Moves)
-Spider Solitare
-DOOM
-NesterJ

Homebrew that I had errors with

-monkey64 2.00 was able to load rom (mario 64) but then froze, emulator problem
-File Assitant ( Frezzes if try to exit,only problem)
-PSP Genesis was not able to open :(
-rRottage was able to play but when exiting this came up "eloder v.0.97 by fanjita and Ditlew (based on work by Satome) Could not open EBOOT.PBP : 80010018 pressa button to restart" when pressing a number the message would just reaper, had to turn off
-SNESPSP TYL 0.4 frozze when trying to exit/save/load/change settings in menu
* This is not Selects fault it is a bug in the emulator

Side Notes:

-Was not able to open any mp3's
-was not able to open any picture's (JPG's, PNG's ect.)
-After messing around sometimes all the icons would dissaper then PSP would turn off
-was able to delete an eboot
-was able to go in to USB mode (just connect usb)


Ganna work on some Icons and the cursor

they is no mp3 or picture viewer, it is all about managing files and passing eboots to eloader so you can play them.

desktops don't have any mp3 players or video players etc on windows macs or linux it is all done by the os & software, so Select will work the same way, that is why it has links, eboots are automaticly passed to eloader and for mp3, pictures and video files will use other psp software, i will be providing a Picture Viewer for tga files and other formats, bundled with Select called Preview

may look at a MP3 Player if I do it will be called iTunes, no it will be called Listen

if i do a video player well I would call it Movie

Could someone post a screen maybe? Thanks if you do.

UPDATE all ready done so the next update will have screenshot option, so testers can show at what point it starts to have isues.

on the last update if you go threw the pages clicking on an icon behaves as it was from page 1, this is a small glitch that is getting fixed
